REGISTRATION

Please note that all the fees presented in the table are per person. VAT is included: 6% accommodation and 23% registraton fee

*Type of accommodation:

- Single room – single occupancy - 1 pax Fully booked
- Double room – double occupancy - 2 pax
- Apartment T2 – two-bedroom apartment (twin beds) - 4 pax. Contact info@etw18.org


The Workshop registration fee includes:

  • Attendance to all scientific sessions and access to all meeting materials (e.g Badge, miniposter book)

  • Accommodation: 4 nights (arriving May 23, departing May 27)

  • Coffee-breaks, buffet lunch (May 24,25,26), buffet dinner (May 23,24,25) and gala dinner (May 26)

  • Transfer from the Óbidos train/bus station to the hotel (according to the organization schedule)

  • 1 half-day tour


The Accompanying Persons registration fee includes (accompanying persons do not have access to any scientific sessions):

  • Accommodation: 4 nights (arriving May 23, departing May 27)

  • Buffet lunch (May 24,25,26), buffet dinner (May 23,24,25) and gala dinner (May 26)

  • Transfer from the Óbidos train/bus station to the hotel (according to the organization schedule)

  • 1 half-day tour


IMPORTANT NOTES

1) Accommodation

  • All accommodation arrangements must be made directly through ETW2018 registration form. Do not contact the hotel directly.

  • If you choose a double room or T2 apartment (2 bedrooms):

- When registering, indicate your name and that of the participant with whom you will share the room with. (First and last name)
- Participants will receive payment confirmation through Paypal, which does not mean that the registration is confirmed. The Confirmation of the registration will only become effective when each of the participants sharing the accommodation conlude the registration and payment. The deadline is one week after the first registration payment.
- In case the Registration/payment of all participants sharing a room/apartment is not received within 1 week, the registration will be cancelled and the payment  (except the bank charges) will be returned to the participants that have payed. (For example, if person A is sharing a double room with person B, but only person A have made the payment, the registration will be cancelled after one week).
- Accompanying persons should be registered by the participant with whom they are going to share the room with.

 

2) Payment Method

  • Registrations will not be confirmed without full payment. You can pay using either your credit card or your Paypal account.

  • If you intend to apply for a Travel grant, please keep in mind that you have to do a regular registration/payment. In the case that you have a positive reply from the organization, the value will be reimbursed afterwards.

  • Please note that the payment receipt will be issued in accordance with the information provided on your registration form. A fee of €25,00 will be charged for the reissue of invoices.


3) Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be electronically mailed. Refund of registration fee will be as follows:

  • Cancellations received until March 1, 2018 - Full refund

  • From March 2, 2018 – No refund


4) Certificates of Attendance
Certificates will be sent after the meeting to all delegates who have attended the meeting.

5) Insurance and Disclaimer
Neither the local organizing committee, nor the organization provide insurance and will not take responsibility for any loss, accident, damage or illness that might occur during the meeting or in the course of travel to or from the meeting site. Participants, therefore, are strongly encouraged to arrange their own personal insurance.
